Sigeumchi Namul - Spinach Seasoned with Garlic and Soy

A delicious Korean spinach dish that is simple to make and comes together in less than 10 minutes!

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz Fresh spinach
  • 1 Garlic clove minced
  • 1 Green onion chopped
  • 1.5 tsp Soy sauce
  • 1.5 tsp Toasted sesame oil
  • 2 tsp Toasted sesame seeds

Instructions
 

  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
  • Mince garlic and chop green onion. Set aside.
  • Place fresh spinach in boiling water for 30-60 seconds.
  • Remove spinach from boiling water and quickly immerse in very cold water to stop the cooking process. Strain and squeeze excess water from spinach.
  • Chop spinach into bite-sized pieces.
  • Toss all ingredients together and serve.
