Meet Your Farmer

Meet Ryan and Chelsea Sullivan from Sullivan's Family Farm!

They are located on Nuttby Mountain between Truro and Tatamagouche. “We focus mainly on naturally raised meats but also are a registered Berkshire Breeder, as well as Egg Grading Station. You can catch us with seasonal products as well such as veggies and maple syrup!”

The Sullivan’s enjoy the lifestyle farmers lead. “It is a great way to know where your food is coming from, and great way to raise your children. It teaches them responsibility, compassion, hard work and respect for living creatures, big and small.”

Sullivan Family Farm has been participating in Open Farm Day for several years, and they always look forward to the event. This year, they will be hosting educational farm tours with animal interacting when possible. They will also have a wagon ride, petting area, sales table, face painting, as well as a BBQ. “It is a great opportunity to not only tell but show everyone what we do and answer those questions people have and hopefully clarify some misconceptions.”

Come visit Ryan and Chelsea at Sullivan’s Family Farm on September 15th, 2019!
