Meet Young Farmer Thian Carman. When Thian was 14 years old, he became the youngest registered farm owner in Nova Scotia! His passion for agriculture and internal drive to be part of this industry has got him to where he is today. Meadows Brothers Farm is located in Digby, Nova Scotia. Here, Thian and his family raise sheep, pigs, chickens, and geese. They farm over 150 acres. This farm started very small and has grown significantly over the years. Not only is Thian busy on the farm, but he is also a full-time student at Dalhousie University, Faculty of Agriculture.
